Ian Thorne

Ian Thorne specialises in landscape and travel photography. He has
built up a diverse portfolio of work which primarily documents the North
East of England and the West Highlands of Scotland.

"I'm increasingly drawn to panoramic photography. Having been a keen
photographer for 25 years, I try to get as much right in-camera as
possible; however digital techniques such as stitching enables a much
wider, more complete perspective of the landscape."

Ian was recently commended in the 'Take A View' Landscape Photographer
of the Year 2010 awards, exhibiting at the National Theatre, London from
22nd November to 16th January. He is available for commissioned work both locally and nationally.
